Awkwafina

Awkwafina has been described as an American actor and performer who made her name with clever raps that tackled gender and ethnic identities from a a boldly comic perspective. Then she branched out into Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Korean immigrants living from Forest Hills Queens. Her first experience with music came via the trumpet. Jazz, classical and hip-hop training began as she was just a teenager. In her schooling, she specialized in journalism and woman's studies. She was also a student of Mandarin during a time in Beijing. Not until after graduation did she begin to concentrate on music. After gaining viral fame through the Internet and her own song My Vag was a reaction to Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually made its way onto the album she released, Yellow Ranger. The other viral hit songs included Queef song and the winking NYC Bitche$ hometown tour. The third track was linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, published in 2015, which was a different initiative. After a successful career as a singer She took on the role of an actor. Her film credits include films including Neighbors 2 Storks, and Bad Rap. In the year 2018 she scored many major roles like Dude Ocean's Eight or Crazy Rich Asians. The EP was released by In Fina We Trust in June of the year.
